Perhaps visit the House of Rab Cake, home of the delicious spiral-shaped cake made mainly from almonds and Maraschino liqueur, first served in 1177 to Pope Alexander III.Day 6 Rab - Krk. We head towards the former prisoner island of Goli Otok this morning where we%u2019ll make a short visit (weather permitting) and explore a little before continuing to Krk. Here, we enjoy a guided walking tour of the old town - now a familiar but still magical mix of Venetian buildings, Franciscan and Benedictine monasteries and fortified castles.We then travel by coach to Vrbnik, a medieval hilltop village whose silhouette is defined by its soaring Renaissance bell tower. As well as being one of the most picturesque villages in Croatia, Vrbnik is also known for %u017dlahtina - a white wine grape grown exclusively on the island. We tour a family-run winery and sample some of the goods before heading back to Krk Townwhere we stay moored for the night.Day 7 Krk - Opatija. We sail towards Opatija, a summer resort town built in the 19th century for Habsburg royalty. Our ship remains in port overnight.Day 8 Opatija - Zagreb - UK. This morning we enjoy a walking tour of Opatija and learn about the town%u2019s history. There is free time to explore, before we transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Our cruise takes us through the Kornati Islands - an archipelago of over 140 uninhabited desert-like islets, peppered with caves and grottos and wrapped in otherworldly blue waters.Day 5 Vodice - Krka National Park - Primo%u0161ten. Today%u2019s destination is picturesque Primo%u0161ten, but first we%u2019ll sail up the Krka River to the pretty town of Skradin. Here, we take a small boat ride followed by guided walk to view the famous Krka waterfalls.Day 6 Primo%u0161ten - Trogir. We%u2019ll depart this morning for Trogir. This afternoon, head out on a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed old town past Romanesque-style cathedrals, Venetian palaces and Benedictine monasteries.Day 7 Trogir - Split. At our final destination of the tour, Split, there%u2019ll be some free time to wander the waterfront or stroll to one of the city%u2019s squares before an afternoon guided walking tour.Day 8 Split - UK.
