Our glacier trail adventure continues along the coast to Jokulsarlon, home to Iceland%u2019s largest lagoons. The dramatic landscape of glistening glaciers defines magnificence, set beneath the towering Oraefajokull - Iceland%u2019s highest peak at 2,109m.Day 7 Hveragerdi. Today we take in stunning views of the Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull glaciers. We then head to a birdwatcher%u2019s haven - Reynishverfi or Dyrholaey headland (closed to the public in May and June for nesting season). Continuing eastwards, we pass the Skogarfoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls and arrive later at Hveragerdi.Day 8 Gullfoss - Reykjavik. The thermal area of Great Geysir dazzles with springs, steam vents and mud pools. The star is the Strokkur, which erupts every 10 minutes, sending up a column of boiling water to a height of 30m. At Gullfoss, visit Iceland%u2019s best known and most beautiful waterfall, the two-tiered Golden Falls. Another highlight is Thingvellir, home of the world%u2019s first parliament and now a national park.Day 9 Reykjavik. Today is free to explore this intriguing city at leisure. Or you may have pre-booked a whale watching tour.Day 10 Reykjavik - UK. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
