This medieval village shot to fame when it featured in the 1972 film, %u2018The Godfather%u2019. There%u2019ll be free time to explore, then we%u2019ll visit the town of Taormina, perched on a rocky hilltop with crumbling Corinthian columns, arches, and an astounding ancient Greek theatre.Day 10 Mount Etna%u2019s Slopes. We head about halfway up the largest active volcano in Europe to the Rifugio Sapienza for an easy walk across the dried lava to the smaller Silvestri Crateri. We head to a Sicilian winery for a tour and tasting of wines made using grapes from vines grown in the volcanic soil.Day 11 Giardini Naxos - Catania - UK.We transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
